DONNA LANIER NAMED HVACR WOMAN OF THE YEAR
Local owner of All Seasons One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning received HVACR Woman of the Year award from Contracting Business Magazine.
Donna Lanier, owner of All Seasons One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Huntsville, AL was recently honored with the HVACR Woman of the Year award by Contracting Business Magazine. The award is given to female leaders in the HVAC community that either own a contracting firm or hold an upper management posiion.
"Receiving this award has given me the opportunity to share my story with others with the hope that they will be inspired to nevr give up on achieving their dream," said Donna Lanier, owner of All Seasons One Hour of Huntsville. “I recognize that if not for all the influences in my life, past and present, this award would have not been possible. For them, I am grateful.”
Lanier began her career after high school as a bookkeeper for an oil distributor in the Huntsville area. Lanier’s hard work paid off when her manager gave her the opportunity to purchase a Huntsville area Chevron station. Lanier later sold that business and accepted a position as district supervisor with Chevron corporate. She then took time away from the corporate world to stay home with her children for a time, and then accepted the position of general manager of All Seasons One Hour, which she later purchased.
While operating her service station, she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Human Resource Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsvill in 1989. Receiving her Master’s Degree would allow her to teach business courses at the college level as a platform to share her experince with others that may be interested in pursuing degrees.
“We are very proud of Donna. She is a wonderful example of setting a goal and working hard to achieve it,” said Tab Hunter, president of franchise operations for Clockwork Home Services, Inc. “This award is a tribute to her hard work, dedication and positive attitude. Congratulations to Donna and All Season’s One Hour in Huntsville.”
Franchised under Clockwork Home Services, Inc., One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is a nationwide network of exceptional, time conscious, courteous, highly competent HVAC professionals, Hunter said. The businesses, like the one in Huntsville, are locally owned and operated and its technicians are experienced, trained and highly knowledgeable – as well as friendly, clean and trustworthy, Hunter added.
