Wow! This company is great. We were in the middle of our furnace breaking down on the coldest day of the year. They had excellent communication, super quick in getting to us, sales guy Mark was the best, techs were friendly, caring, knowledgeable, professional, and I would trust them with ANY HVAC need. My mobile home community was established in recent years; so, the houses are relatively new. Our AC unit was not performing well enough this summer. I requested a name for "the guy" from our community manager. I gave "him" a call and left a quick, detailed message. I never heard from "him." Never. Not a peep. I then called Neighbors Heating and Cooling. A pleasant woman answered and recorded all the information she requested. When she discovered I was in a mobile home community (aka: trailer park), the lady let me know it was Neighbor's policy to not include these types of dwellings in their offered services. I saw a One Hour H&AC truck pass through my neighborhood the other day. I gave them a call. I received a reply right away after leaving a message. We made an arrangement for One Hour to call me on Monday as it was the weekend. Their people called!! We lined up a time later on Monday; and "their man" Mike showed up. Mike was courteous. Mike was methodical. Mike kept me abreast of the procedure. Mike repaired my AC unit. Mike explained the charges for his service and recorded everything on the company tablet. I paid and received a receipt via Email. Everything is cool. Thanks Mike. Thank you One Hour H&AC of Ames UPDATE: The oppressive heat of this year's early summer temps had my AC workin' overtime. I found myself needing One Hour H&AC again. I phoned. Jody answered. She scheduled me for later in the morning. Before noon my AC unit was functioning properly again!! This time Josh & assistant James came out and walked me through what they'd plan to do; and, kept me informed along the way. They diagnosed the problem and performed the necessary repair. Don't waste your valuable time calling on the other companies. Get it done right.
