Update: After posting my original review, the owner Alex reached out personally and issued a refund that accounted for the high pricing and inconvenience of the experience, without being pressed for that amount. He also shared that he is actively working with the national franchise pricing model to bring rates in line with the local Seattle market. I appreciate the owner's customer service and professionalism.
Original experience: The technician was professional and correctly diagnosed a failed contactor in my outdoor unit that was triggering a Nest thermostat error. The repair took two days due to a parts miscommunication, and the job was billed as a single flat-rate line item of $493 with no parts/labor breakdown, significantly above what an independent HVAC company would typically charge for the same repair.
Bottom line: the initial experience had real rough edges, but Alex handled the follow-up with honesty and professionalism. Given the experience as a whole, I'd work with One Hour again.
