A Note From Our General Manager: We're Hiring

Dear Corpus Christi and Portland Area Residents,

My name is Mark Wendland and I am the General Manager of One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating of Portland.

Mark Wendland

We recognize the tough position many locals are in during these uncertain times

and the impact it can have on our families and businesses.

We know that our community relies on us for at home comfort and that it is our responsibility to provide essential services to all Portland, Corpus Christi and surrounding area residents during this time. While other business operations have had to scale back significantly, we are actively searching for candidates who would like to join our team of service professionals.

It is in these moments that I am thankful for my career in essential trades such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical. No matter what is happening in our country or around the world, Corpus Christi and Portland locals expect their air conditioners, plumbing systems and electrical systems to perform and operate as they should. There is always demand for employees in our trade, but, now more than ever. We are expecting to be very busy in the ever rapidly approaching Spring and Summer months and that’s why One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating is taking this time to look for dedicated, career focused and goal-oriented applicants.

No experience? Not a problem! We have multiple apprenticeship programs, in house training programs along with an on-site training manager who will take you through the necessary steps in order to get you in the field, making money for yourself and your family – consistently.

I know how important time is at home with loved ones. That is why we offer different schedule types to fit your needs.

We look forward to speaking with you and discussing what a great opportunity this could be for you and your family. Please visit our website and fill out an application today – We have many field positions open for hire.

Thank you for your time and interest, I hope you and your family stay safe and healthy.
