I recently had my 2022 air conditioning system inspected by Mason Tibbets from One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of Ogden, and I can confidently say this was one of the most thorough and informative service experiences I’ve had.
Mason has over 10 years of experience, and it shows. His attention to detail is exceptional, and what truly sets him apart is his ability to clearly explain what’s going on with your system in a way that makes sense—no tech jargon or guesswork.
During the tune-up, Mason found that the refrigerant charge was likely off since installation (showing 0° of subcooling when it should be between 7–14°). He provided a clear explanation of what that means, the potential long-term impact, and what my options were moving forward. He also checked the system’s capacitor, which was running perfectly, and took the time to clean the outdoor unit and secure insulation to improve efficiency.
Even though I chose not to adjust the refrigerant level right now, Mason made sure I was fully informed and empowered to make the best decision for my home.

“Great great great experience with 1 Hour AC. Started with the women who answered the phones (I had to call 2x which was my fault). Both were extremely pleasant, excellent communicators.
I called at 7:30am and my tech, Deangelo, was here before 8:30am. What a very nice, competent young man. Did everything he said he was going to expediently. Didn’t try to hustle me into this or that. Diagnosed the problem, got a quote, fixed the problem and cool air started flowing.
I’ve had so many negative experiences trying out different providers, but 1HrAC just knocked it out of the park. I like this experience so much I signed a maintenance contract with them.
If your AC is out, I would recommend giving them a call. If you can get Deangelo, you’re definitely in good hands!”

“I simply could not have been more delighted with the OUTSTANDING customer service I experienced from my technician, Tim Strowd today! He started by arriving on time, put on his protective booties, without me asking; and from start to finish Tim was the consummate professional!
He explained everything he did in great detail, with photos, in a manner I could understand. I always appreciate when someone takes the time to speak in a language that helps you understand what they actually did. He made some great recommendations and I valued his clear and concise summary of the work.
We also joined the maintenance club which we see a great deal of value in for maximizing future HVAC needs. Going forward I will ALWAYS ask for Tim Strowd, as I really believe he cares deeply about the services he offers.

“Fawaz is exceptional. He is such a pleasant young man who takes time to explain what he is doing. My only regret is that I did not know about this company before. Their price is unbeatable. They charged me $19.99 to service my ac whereas the company I was with before told me it would cost over $800 to do the same. It pays to shop around in Florida. There are lots of crooks out there.
