Jacob Farmer is building his career at One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating with a focus on learning the trade, staying consistent, and making people’s day a little better along the way.

After high school, Jacob bounced around a bit trying different jobs without a clear long-term path. Joining One Hour gave him something different, a chance to build real skills and start moving toward a steady career he could grow in.

“I came to One Hour to start a career for myself and learn valuable skills that I can take with me for a lifetime,” Jacob said.

What he enjoys most about HVAC so far is not just the technical side, but the people side. Every home is different, and every call is a chance to help someone feel more comfortable in their space.

“I’m a people person,” he said. “Being able to go into someone’s home and make them feel better than they did when you got there, and just being a good impact on someone’s day.”

When he is not working, Jacob is usually hanging out with friends or playing basketball 🏀. He is a big sports guy, and that same energy and teamwork mindset shows up in how he approaches his work.

Jacob is still early in his HVAC career, but he is already finding his rhythm, and doing it in a way that puts people first.
