What are Signs That My Furnace Needs Repairs?

One way to tell if your furnace needs repairs is by looking at your energy bills. If you notice that your furnace is running more often than usual, or if your energy bills have spiked, it could be a sign that your furnace is not functioning properly. Another way to tell if your furnace needs repairs is by listening for strange noises. If you hear banging, rattling, or squealing, it could be a sign that there is something wrong with your furnace. If you notice any of these signs, it's important to call an experienced furnace repair technician near you right away. By getting furnace repairs promptly, you can help to prevent more serious problems down the road.

Furnace & Heat Pump Maintenance

For whatever reason, preventative maintenance for heating and air conditioning systems continues to be a massive point of confusion for some. Naturally, if your heating and air conditioning is working properly, you rarely pay it any attention other than to adjust the thermostat a couple degrees here and there.

However, the vast majority of breakdowns during peak operating seasons are directly related to lack of regular maintenance. Furthermore, average lifespan has been shown to drastically increase in systems that receive regular maintenance.

Furnace & Heat Pump Installation

The warning signs are there — creaking joints, fluctuating temperatures, erratic behavior, strange odors — maybe it’s time to say so long to your furnace. We can walk you through the process of trading up for a shiny new HVAC system. Just give us a call and our friendly and knowledgeable comfort advisor will walk you through the steps of replacing your furnace. From qualifying you for rebates and tax credits to taking proper measurements to ensure you don’t overpay or undersize.

The technician Bret was straight forward and didn’t try to BS us like our previous company who all they did was try to upsell instead of looking out for our best interest.

Used One Hour to diagnose a failing AC in late summer. Chose to get a new system with furnace since both were fairly old. That experience went good. No complaints really. But just had routine maintenance with Colin Sims. Exceptional experience. You can tell he enjoys and is passionate about what he does. Very knowledgeable.

Exceptional service. On the coldest day of the year our furnace stopped heating our home. With a 9 month old I was desperate to get someone to come out quickly. I already had a company that I worked with for our furnace and AC maintenance but even though I was a service member they were not able to come as quickly as I wanted so I started making calls. When I called One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning they had a technician out very quickly and had the issue resolved. From the office staff answering the phones to the technicians everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. I also especially love that before they send a technician to your home they text you a photo and bio of the person you will be working with. I will be ditching my old company and work with One Hour moving forward. Thank you for getting our home warm again!

Everyone is SO kind & professional!!! The lovely lady that answered the phone when I called was AMAZING! The service technician Josh, was extremely professional & knowledgeable; he explained all of the details and showed pictures of the furnace maintenance he performed. He also installed our Nest Thermostat and once again explained everything to us. He is an amazing, kind and extremely courteous young man who is a fantastic ambassador for the company & absolutely knows his business! I highly recommended One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning Company in Lees Summit, MO!

Alex did a great job with her service call today, she was very thorough and explained some of what she was doing while doing the work. I think she went over and above what was required by sealing up some of the air leaks around the furnace area where your guys had to do some sheet metal work to connect the new furnace as it was shorter than the previous one. I appreciated that very much. She also put up with my big nosy dog checking her out every 5 minutes.
