My daughter rented an house years ago and her landlord had McCarthy’s come out and she said they did a great job so she contacted them for me when our system was failing.The initial call was over a holiday weekend and the gentleman they sent was able to do a temp fix and get our system up and running for a reasonable price, however, with our furnace being over 20 years old, the parts for a permanent solution would be hard to find, which other shops confirmed. They applied no pressure for a sale but warning that we were on borrowed time. It lasted a couple of months, which was long enough for us to be prepared when the system started to fail again. I had been checking around town and getting an idea of the cost and their quote was inline with the numbers I had been hearing. Also, for a nominal monthly fee they do yearly inspections/ maintenance at a locked in price. The membership includes a significant discount on any work that needs done. I have been looking to get my vents cleaned and my system serviced since we hadn’t done it in a while. The work was scheduled and completed the next day. During installation the tech discovered some ductwork that had been grandfathered in and was not up to code so they replaced it at no additional cost. We had a drop in temperature, low to mid 70s, with nighttime in the 60s which saved us.❤️A rarity for Omaha in late June. The temp was back into the 80s the very next day (today) and the system is working beautifully. The techs and managers were all polite and efficient. I would recommend them. Obviously, we’re on the first day. I’ll update if anything changes.
