Steve became Owner of One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning in 2005 after a 20 year career in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Management. He holds a Master Mechanical license in addition to having held several other licenses including his Professional Engineering license. His desire is to provide world class service to the Kansas City Metro area.

Denise has been an owner since 2005. Throughout the past eighteen years of the company’s existence, Denise has worked right alongside her husband and co-owner, Steve, to build the company to what it is today. She has served in numerous roles, from client care representative, to administrative assistant, general manager, has executed marketing campaigns, and now is the human resources director. Denise has been driven throughout her life to serve others and learned this mindset as she grew up in a pastor’s family serving in multiple churches across America. She has experience directing church camps, music competitions, and believes homeschooling her children has helped her develop skills that transfer to training and human resources. When not working, Denise loves campfires, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her grandkids.

Kyle has been with One Hour for over 15 years and has been involved in almost every aspect of the business operations. Currently, Kyle serves as General Manager, overseeing all day to day operations.  He is an avid Royals and Chiefs fan, is a "sneaky" good interior decorator, and enjoys attending as many concerts as his schedule allows.  Kyle is a downtown Lee's Summit resident.

Ten years ago, Caleb started out working in the scrap yard cutting metal for One Hour. Eventually, he became a service and sales technician, and later began training and mentoring the new employees as the One Hour team grew. His role as the Operations Manager incorporates organizing the installation teams, systematizing the service and sales of the company, and training everyone from installers to sales technicians. He knows every employee learns differently, and has developed training strategies that celebrate this. Since Kansas City is home, Caleb is inspired to serve the community and sees helping employees reach their full potential while bringing 100% customer satisfaction as part of this. Caleb enjoys spending time with his family, is an avid Chiefs and Royals fan, and plays video games with friends.

Jimmy has over two years in the HVAC industry and several years’ experience in sales prior to working at One Hour. He has combined these skills to bring efficiency and organization to the dispatch team, and positive, upbeat customer service to all the customers he speaks with. Jimmy is motivated to create an amazing life for his dogs, Dorito and Brandi, and his cats, Simba and Momo. On the side, Jimmy is a master black bear hunter and set the record for taking down the largest black bear for anyone under 18.

After fifteen years in the HVAC industry, Bret has accumulated a vast amount of technological expertise. Bret has worked in both service and sales, which has resulted in an outstanding combination; he is knowledgeable about each customer’s system and its technological underpinnings, and also understands customer needs and preferences with his personableness. Bret enjoys spending time with his growing family, taking his kids almost nightly to sports games, and has a fantastic way of making everyone around him genuinely smile.

Will decided on a career in the HVAC field, right out of high school. We think he made the right choice! He is knowledgeable, courteous, and always has a smile. Will plays on a rugby team here in the Kansas City area, so let him know if you'd like to watch him in action!

Eli is as sharp as he is tall! The basketball star holds five years of HVAC experience, along with an associates degree in HVAC technology. With a positive, caring, and motivated personality, Eli continually delights customers and brings this energy to the One Hour team. He plays on our company basketball team, and has saved us from looking really bad, to holding our own. Apart from this, he loves to golf and relax with his girlfriend and family.

Matt joined our team in 2020. Along with being an experienced HVAC Technician, Matt is also a Military Police Officer with the US Army National Guard. In his spare time, Matt enjoys hunting with his family.

Jacob came to One Hour in 2019 and very quickly became a valuable Service Technician. He has a growing family and enjoys spending time with them when he's not working.

You can't stay unhappy if you're around Brendon. Brendon is always aware of others and his motto is: "I just want everyone around me to have a good day." This is reflected in his work and attitude. Brendon loves the art of installing HVAC equipment and enjoys the satisfaction of a happy customer.

Ethan has been in the HVAC industry for three years and received one year of HVAC education prior to that. With this experience, he has become a top performing installer for One Hour. He continues to build on his knowledge on the job, through training, and communicating with colleagues and management. On the fun side, Ethan has bowled a 300, is one of eleven brothers and sisters, and is the lead singer in his church choir.

Stephanie has been part of the One Hour team for four years and has been an accountant for twenty-three! Through this valuable experience as an accountant, Stephanie was able to bring clarity and organization to the One Hour accounting department, and now has taken on the role of Administrative Manager for the office. Stephanie enjoys relaxing at the lake and boating with her family, as well as reading, crime documentaries, and watching her daughter perform in theater.

Laura is an exemplary client care representative who brings courtesy, service, professionalism, and encouragement to the One Hour team. With years of experience in several industries, from healthcare, to real estate, to auctions, and recently HVAC, Laura has developed stellar customer service skills and teamwork strategies. In her free time, Laura channels her childhood dream of becoming an architect through creative outlets like interior design, painting, sculpting, and cooking.

Victor has been in the HVAC industry for six years and comes from a unique background that has helped him thrive as a warehouse and install coordinator. With experience in everything from teaching high school biology to serving as a police officer for twenty-four years, Victor has developed skills in organization, management, and has undertaken ongoing training in HVAC to become an expert in the industry. Victor is also a father of four and enjoys traveling with his star-athlete kids to tournaments and state competitions during sport seasons.
