I called DeBord for their plumbing expertise on Saturday with a toilet that wouldn’t flush. They let me know that it would cost more to come out during the weekend and that if it wasn’t an emergency (it wasn’t) could it wait until Monday. Got a call first thing Monday, said a technician would be out between 8 and 10. Technician, Allen, called around 7:45 and said “I’ll be there in 20 minutes.” Worked on the issue and resolved it in 2 hours. Upon leaving, he noticed our gas meter and asked if I knew how to shut it off in an emergency (I didn’t. Been here over 35 years.) Then he showed me how. Great service. Very thorough.

On Monday, (middle of January!) we woke up to a very cold house and quickly realized our furnace wasn’t working. Since our furnace was already 24 years old, we suspected it might need to be replaced. We asked for a quote for a new furnace, and while the repair person was at our home, the salesperson arrived and was able to provide us with that estimate. They worked tirelessly to schedule the installation for Wednesday, which meant we only had a couple of chilly days without heat. We were so impressed by how smoothly everything was handled—getting both the new furnace and a crew to remove the old one and install the new. The installation team, led by Doug, was courteous and helpful every step of the way. Doug patiently answered all of our questions (and we had quite a few!) about the new furnace. Overall, the entire Debord team turned what could have been a stressful situation into a much more manageable experience. I truly recommend Debord’s—they’re top-notch!
Allen Holt explained everything that needed to be done, and did the work promptly. The final bill matched the estimate. I was happy enough that I asked them to handle another plumbing problem for me.
